A Japanese House in Belgium

House Tsuga

Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium / Early 1990s

Published in Dom & Wnętrze (1993)

A built residence shaped by Japanese domestic principles, timber craft, and a garden conceived as a lived threshold.

Verandas, sliding partitions, double-height interior volumes, and a reflective pond create a calm sequence between house and landscape.

The project is presented here through archival photography, magazine coverage, and current site documentation.
